How do I rent a VOLTRUSH portable charger?
- Tap your card on M2 Reader to start
- A fully charged portable power bank is released
- Connect your device using the built-in Lightning, USB-C, or Micro-USB cable
- Power up on the go — keep the charger with you while you move
- Return the power bank to any available slot on Voltrush kiosk when finished
How do I return a VOLTRUSH portable charger?
- To return your portable charger, simply insert it into an empty slot at the same Voltrush kiosk where you rented it.
- The kiosk will automatically register the return.
Why was my card charged when I rented a portable charger?
When you rent a portable charger from Voltrush, you may notice a temporary pre-authorization hold on your payment method. This is a standard security measure and is not a final charge.
If you return the charger:
• The pre-authorization hold is released as soon as the charger is returned to a Voltrush kiosk
• You will only be charged for the actual rental time based on the kiosk’s posted rates
• While Voltrush releases the hold immediately, your bank may take additional time to reflect this update on your statement
If the charger is not returned:
• The pre-authorization will convert into a finalized charge within 2–5 business days

Do I need to download the app to rent a portable charger?

What happens if I try to return a portable charger but the VOLTRUSH station is totally full?
Voltrush does not require an app. To find a nearby return location, simply scan the QR code on the back of the portable charger using your phone’s camera. This will direct you to a mobile-friendly, click “Rent Charger” button and a web page showing nearby Voltrush kiosks with available return slots.
For the most accurate information, refresh the page to view the latest kiosk availability. If you need additional assistance locating a return station, support contact details are provided on the charger and kiosk.
What happens if I don't return the portable charger?
If a portable charger is not returned within 24 hours, the rental will automatically convert into a purchase at the amount of the initial pre-authorization hold applied at the time of rental.
Once purchased, the charger is yours to keep and can be recharged and reused at home using a USB-C cable.
Please note: the maximum amount you may be charged is capped at the original pre-authorization hold, which varies by venue. You will never be charged more than this amount.
My portable charger doesn't seem to be charging my device, what do I do?
Press the black button on the side of the portable charger to turn it on. When powered, three blue LED lights will appear on the front of the charger.
For best results, we recommend removing thick phone cases to ensure the cable is fully connected. Voltrush chargers are smart batteries and will automatically power off when not in use.
